I know you are hearing all types of conspiracy theories that are making you confused about our safety. You try to ignore them, but people whisper them in your ears so I thought the first thing to do would be to hit a few right away and reduce their credibility as we go along so you can begin to have a better appreciation of global stability and how we can "Save our Planet". I love those little slogans just like you so I may say a few as we go along. We will also look at how to change the weather patterns of the earth outside these conspiracies.

I was in Newport, Rhode Island, walking alone down a poorly lit street late at night near the waterfront-a very nasty part of town. It was the kind of thing you do when you're young and tough and you think you're invulnerable.

Lesbian Motherhood Stories of Becoming

Lesbian Motherhood Stories of Becoming
Amy L. Hequembourg, "Lesbian Motherhood: Stories of Becoming"
English | ISBN: 1560236868 | 2007 | 202 pages | PDF | 3 MB
A unique practical application of poststructuralist theory to lesbian mothers' narratives, Lesbian Motherhood: Stories of Becoming analyzes the personal stories of 40 lesbian mothers to discover the complex ways their sense of self is constructed in the current legal, political, and social climate. These intimate narratives are examined by using Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari's conceptual framework to understand subjectivities by focusing on the many flexible lines of movement that constitute subjectivities, or 'becomings.' This unique source reveals deep insight into a lesbian's construction of self through her stories about her own sexuality, parenting, and other experiences in becoming a mother.

Late Ottoman Origins of Modern Islamic Thought Turkish and Egyptian Thinkers on the Disruption of Islamic Knowledge

Late Ottoman Origins of Modern Islamic Thought Turkish and Egyptian Thinkers on the Disruption of Islamic Knowledge
Andrew Hammond, "Late Ottoman Origins of Modern Islamic Thought: Turkish and Egyptian Thinkers on the Disruption of Islamic Knowledge "
English | ISBN: 1009199501 | 2022 | 297 pages | PDF | 4 MB
In this major contribution to Muslim intellectual history, Andrew Hammond offers a vital reappraisal of the role of Late Ottoman Turkish scholars in shaping modern Islamic thought. Focusing on a poet, a sheikh and his deputy, Hammond re-evaluates the lives and legacies of three key figures who chose exile in Egypt as radical secular forces seized power in republican Turkey: Mehmed Akif, Mustafa Sabri and Zahid Kevseri. Examining a period when these scholars faced the dual challenge of non-conformist trends in Islam and Western science and philosophy, Hammond argues that these men, alongside Said Nursi who remained in Turkey, were the last bearers of the Ottoman Islamic tradition. Utilising both Arabic and Turkish sources, he transcends disciplinary conventions that divide histories along ethnic, linguistic and national lines, highlighting continuities across geographies and eras. Through this lens, Hammond is able to observe the long-neglected but lasting impact that these Late Ottoman thinkers had upon Turkish and Arab Islamist ideology.
